Job Summary
THE POSITION
The Coordinator III, Career Technical Education-Dual Enrollment, will provide district and school-level support for the implementation of dual enrollment programs and pathways. In support of the State’s Golden State Pathways Program, this position promotes dual enrollment course integration and articulation agreements, including College and Career Access Pathways partnership agreements. The selected candidate will collaborate with educational and industry partners in support of program development and marketing and the identification of model Career Technical Education (CTE) and Dual Enrollment programs across Los Angeles County. Additionally, the Coordinator III will provide technical, specialized, consultative, advisory, and planning support and coordinate professional development for districts and charter schools.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Experience:
Three or more years of comprehensive experience in school site administration, including at least two years in education as a principal, district, or county office of education administrator. District CTE Administrative experience is desirable.
Education:
A Master’s degree in education or a closely related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

* Possess and maintain a valid California Administrative Services Credential. The Designated Subjects Supervisory Credential alone does not qualify.
and
* Possess and maintain a valid California Career Technical Education Teaching Credential/Vocational Education Credential; or California Single Subject Teaching Credential in one of the following areas: agriculture, business, home economics, industrial arts, and industrial and technology education; or a valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential.
