Link Lab – Assistant/Associate/Full Professional Research Series
The Link lab at the Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging is looking for a researcher who is interested in a professional researcher position at UCSF. This position is for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professional Researcher. The professional researcher will be responsible for designing and overseeing imaging studies, analyzing imaging data, performing statistical analyses, writing grant proposals and other funding-related activities, writing scientific manuscripts and overseeing and aiding in the writing of scientific manuscripts by other team members. The professional researcher will also have a leadership role within the Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research group at UCSF, working closely with post-doctoral researchers, students and other trainees as well as faculty on collaborative projects.
Required Qualifications:
Appointees in the Professional Research series must possess a doctorate or its equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant and creative contributions to research projects focusing on imaging of musculoskeletal diseases and epidemiology of osteoarthritis, as well as providing technical assistance to ongoing research activities in this field.
Experience in musculoskeletal imaging techniques, specifically MRI and CT
Expertise in image data analysis tools
Expertise in biostatistics
Proven track record of publishing high-quality manuscripts
Proven track record of successful grant funding
Expertise in developing and applying artificial intelligence algorithms
See Table 13B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $87,100-$231,800.
