This Senior Account Manager will support our Macy’s, Belk, and Nexcom accounts. This position entails leading day-to-day operations and strategic planning for sales, marketing, inventory management, visual merchandising, in-store fixtures, and logistics. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Director or Director of the Retail Account. The individual will spearhead the development of seasonal financial and inventory plans, along with budgeting. Key responsibilities include coordinating financial and merchandise aspects of product launches, devising marketing strategies, and organizing events, all aimed at optimizing our "in stock" position and profitability. Moreover, the individual will offer necessary support to the Retailer VP and maintain essential liaisons with key retail partners.

Support to develop Financial Sales and Stock Plan
Participate with Sales Management Team to assist in sku forecasting

Inventory Management
Work with Account Manager and Sr Account Director/Account Director to ensure the following is being executed:
Weekly Communication with Planning and Forecasting any opportunities due to sales trends or anything that will effect allocations
Monitoring incoming EDI orders to ensure proper opening orders per allocation and shipping dates.
Monthly meeting with account to review inventory balance, sell through of products featured in merchandising programs, and upcoming orders.
Managing risk of overstock at door level, minimize RTV liability of the company
Communicating significant changes in sku item Forecast Team as necessary based on emerging trend or upcoming event
Monitoring sales of new launches to ensure immediate reorders as necessary
Monitoring stock level by sku and door to ensure optimum inventory balance
Managing and negotiation of best planning, shipping, and OTB plans for the account
Merchandising
Conduct regular productivity analysis of merchandising strategy
Partner with Visual Merchandising Dept. for merchandising updates to maximize profitability. Provide sales data to complement the merchandising strategy and validate the efficacy of proposed updates
Budget Management
Take the lead in the Budget process in collaboration with the Sr. Director or Director of the Account
Provide summary analysis for key G/L lines for presentation to management
Track monthly expenses vs. budget, be able to project out full year expenses
Take the lead in monthly P&L review with management
Reports and Analysis
Weekly/monthly sales reporting and analysis to account and field teams such as Weekly Best Seller by sku, Topline Sales Results, sku Penetration % and Monthly Ranking by door
Review and summarize results of promotional activities: events, regional press exposure, etcCommunicate successes and opportunities for new product launches and eventsTrack and report on key KPIs for the business (Ie: Conversion)
Provide support as necessary in areas that might fall under the Account Manager responsibility such as Field Communications, Inventory Management, Customer Support, Events and Forecasting
Liaison with Marketing as in relates to in stores and on-line activities
Note the designated Retailer(s) assigned to the Senior Account Manager can change based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Team oriented. Ability to manage relationships across multiple departments internally that build lasting partnership and collaboration
Ability to analyze sales results and identify factors relating to business opportunities and risk
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Flexible and adaptive attitude to changing business needs
College graduate or equivalent experience
Minimum 4 years in retail planning or merchandising role
Experience with Budgets or Income Statement preferred
Schedule:
Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly
The target salary range for this position is $95,000-$120,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus. This position is also eligible for the following benefits, including but not limited to: comprehensive health, dental and vision plans; a 401(k) plan with employer matching, various paid time off programs; employee discount/perks; life insurance; disability insurance; flexible spending accounts.
