Position Summary
The Employee Engagement & Resource Specialist will serve as an Employee Navigator and will be the HR presence located centrally in the hospital’s Employee Resource Center (ERC). The Employee Engagement & Resource Specialist will run the daily functions of the Employee Resource Center including providing support to employees in various HR-related topics, coordinate ERC employee events and gather and analyze employee metrics. This schedule for this position can be modified to work four ten-hour days for the work week. This role will also be 100% onsite.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:
Responsibilities:
Serve as an employee navigator who will also be the HR partner presence located centrally in the Employee Resource Center (ERC) to address staff concerns.
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics including but not limited to benefits, and leave; wellness programs; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from employees referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate stakeholders.
Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Coordinate employee events through the Employee Resource Center including managing the ERC event calendar and being the point person for HR vendors visits.
Facilitate employee engagement activities and initiatives via the Employee Resource Center (ERC)
Conduct exit interviews for staff leaving the organization.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, including turnover and exit survey data.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
3 -5 years of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM-CP a plus.
