The On Premise Development Manager builds, leads and maintains the Sales Operations processes and routines for the entire On Premise team. This position supports the frontline sales teams with a variety of strategic efforts, identifies opportunities to drive efficiencies and is key player in driving a more efficient go-to-market model. The On Premise Development Manager oversees a team focused on deploying and maintaining new processes across each Market Unit.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Lead strategy, continuous development of processes, projects, and systems to drive efficiencies, eliminate waste and maximize profitability in the On Premise team
Manage and develop a team
Manage processes and tools used for new business, salesforce effectiveness, commercial execution, pricing accuracy, contracts, Request for Proposals (RFP), sales tools, equipment management and business review templates
Collaborate with call center and mycoke team members to ensure processes and tools are streamlined across order methods
Lead project initiation routines to assess project scope, develop initial scenarios, build project team and facilitate and adhere to timeline and key project milestones
Provide project management and leadership to implement pilots and rollouts of new continuous improvement plans
Build and maintain routines to track progress against timelines and goals, determine actions and escalate as needed
Align and coordinate resources to implement additional operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget
Interface with Sales Operations team to ensure a general management approach to the segment, bringing strategic value opportunities to the customer that span the capabilities
Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including the customer, Coke One North America (CONA), Business Services North America (BSNA), The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), other franchise bottlers, Reyes Holdings, Commercial, Finance and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) teams
Act as internal subject matter expert for the company by providing input based on strategies/insights and communicating future strategy for year over year efficiencies
Develop strategy and program ideas as well as compliance and tracking sales tools
Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business or related field with 6 plus years of sales and/or related experience and 3 plus years of people leadership experience or HS Diploma with 9 plus years of sales or related experience and 4 plus years of people leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Strong analytical skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Project management experience
Business development planning experience
Ability to manage needs/concerns of stakeholders across various business systems
Proficient with Microsoft office i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
Travel up to 30%
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Masters degree
Distributor, full line customer sales and vending operations experience
Business development planning experience in a bottler and fountain environment
Selling experience
Ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs and key initiatives
