Ability to follow routine floor care and cleaning schedules in addition to management's requests for unscheduled assignments. Duties may also include cleaning and/or maintaining all areas of Harris Health System facilities. This position requires the ability to operate equipment safely, ensure a safe environment for staff and visitor's and personal responsibility for your safety. Work assignments may be completed individually or in a team setting
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: High School diploma or GED preferred; or six months recent hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of high school diploma/GED.
Work Experience (Years and Area): One year of hospitality, commercial or healthcare housekeeping experience that includes at least six months of hard floor maintenance and restoration of commercial floor care.
Management Experience (Years and Area): None
Equipment Operated: Heavy equipment to include high speed and low speed machines, walk behind and riding scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and wet vacuums.

Other Requirements: Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to operate and maintain floor care equipment in a safe manner at all times.
