The Fleet Rentals, Compliance, Remarketing and Leasing Senior Specialist will work assigned duties across fleet functions and supplier management activities. This team supports $35M in annual generator rental services, $10M in equipment rental spend, administration of 4,000 active leases with a $250 M financed balance, electronic driver compliance systems for 3,300 MD and HD drivers and remarketing of up to 800 assets annually. Fleet financial reporting and CARB compliance reporting functions are also in scope. This position supports a growing fleet of 6,700 assets with $1B replacement value and $150M annual operating costs that must be electrified to meet CA Advanced Clean Fleet requirements over the next decade.

- Lead the performance of vehicle and equipment rental suppliers. Handle rental costs, negotiate damage invoices, monitor expenses and recommend alternative vehicles when asset availability is limited or when lower cost equipment may meet business needs. Perform and document field safety observations.
- Supports a weekly rotation with peers for 24x7 rental desk hotline for emergent generator and equipment needs for field staff and corporate IMT activities.
- Perform site visits, supplier safety assessments, and lead supplier performance. Performing and documenting health risk assessments for each pertinent generator deployment. Monitoring air quality compliance requirements. Testing alternative low emissions technologies and lower cost solutions.
- Assist the fleet vehicle remarketing process to ensure all vehicle procedures are met, master data updated, revenue realized. Lead the performance of SCE's supplier/auctioneer. Troubleshoot problem vehicles, identify vehicles appropriate for redeployment as spares, etc.
- Assist with electronic driver compliance file administration and pull notice administration as requested.
- Assist with Lease administration duties as requested.
- Generates reports to minimize expenses and provide management reporting insights.
The Essentials
- Five to Seven years of experience in a fleet organization supporting vehicle operations, vehicle remarketing, generator services, OR electronic driver compliance files and pull notice system administration.
- Proficient with SAP and Microsoft office suite.
- Valid U.S Driver's License.
The Preferred
- B.S Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
- Experience with an electric utility work truck fleet and asset classes (Digger Derricks, Bucket Trucks, Cranes, Cable Pullers, etc.)
- Experience in a transportation or vehicle related fleet asset management role.
- Experience in fleet budgeting and preparation.
- Experience making in-depth fleet asset management models to drive effective management recommendations.
- Supplier contract management experience.

- This positions work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
