Job Abstract

Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems is seeking a manager for our administrative assistant team. In addition to being organized and analytical, you must possess sound judgment and exceptional communication skills to lead a team and provide support structures for a variety of people across multiple job functions, levels, and regions. You must have the desire and the ability to help your team develop and proactively look for ways to create and maintain cohesion across our very global team.

Qualified candidates should have 4+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more Experience in an administrative assistant role. Must have extensive event planning experience for teams of 500 or more. Creative, thoughtful, take problems and dissect them for solutions.Ability to influence others; handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense.Ability to work independently and handle frequently changing needs.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven problem solving abilities and the ability to anticipate change and act efficiently. A high level of discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with people at all levels is imperative. Must operate with the highest levels of integrity and build a trustworthy environment among the team. Positive, proactive, and approachable personality. Poised under pressure with the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice.Creativity in building team culture and fostering a positive and productive work environment.Ability to manage, and be effective with ambiguity.

* Manage, mentor and develop a team of administrative assistants.* Set agendas, prepare content and run regular admin team meetings.* Create and align team goals, foster career growth, foster innovation while keeping some continuity between teams across WTE.* Regularly assess team member performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching and guidance.* Write and give annual reviews and hold regular career conversations. * Regularly assess and evaluate admin processes and procedures with the goal of streamlining and optimizing to ensure efficiency across all sites. * Ensure smooth and adequate flow of information to broader operations organization. * Partner with business operations teams to create, implement, and maintain strategies that help support the engineering teams.* Create and put into practice programs that engage and develop the admin community. * Oversee employee engagement events for the organization. * Manage the annual employee relations budget for the organization.* Oversee logistics for org wide communications meetings. Including room reservations, room set up, registration and day of tasks to ensure a smooth experience for all. * Manage and track equipment needs and spending across the admin team.* Oversee building and facilities support across multiple sites (snack supplies, office supplies, building maintenance, organize small engineering moves, etc).* Hire, onboard, and train new admins as needed.
