The Los Angeles Rams Football Operations Fellowship provides an opportunity to work with, shadow and observe the Los Angeles Rams football organization. Mentorship, career development and networking opportunities are key components of an immediate and sustainable career experience for each participant as we aim to prepare Fellows for the rigors of a career in athletics. Upon guaranteeing confidentiality, the participant will be provided access to football-related information, exposed to Club philosophy, and given the opportunity to participate in club activities, including but not limited to 2024 training camp, team travel in the 2024 season, home games in the 2024 season, 2025 offseason program, the 2025 season travel preparation, as well as the 2025 Draft. The Rams will clearly define expectations and goals for each participant, curated to the needs of the club as well as the interests of the fellow. The club will perform an exit interview with each participant to gauge his or her perception of the effectiveness of the Rams program and to track the participant’s future employment Mentorship is a key element of this program. The Rams will provide constructive feedback to the participant, and, if appropriate, offer positive employment references and continued career advice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS JOB:
Assist in all team travel elements including being 1 of 2 Rams Staff Members to advance team travel in all away cities, creating and updating charter manifests, building away game stadium guides, hotel set up and more.
Update and maintain Teamworks, our key communication tool, throughout the season and offseason for entire football staff and roster.
Assist in maintaining and updating key files, manuals and calendars throughout the year.
Assist in all operational aspects of training camp logistics including but not limited to dorm build out, check in, daily movements, open practice management and more.
Serve as an assistant to the POC for our Rams Family Organization, including but not limited to weekly communication, maintaining and updating our database, ideating, planning and executing events and more.
Assist with execution of player tryouts and logistics throughout the season as well as Rookie onboarding and OTA logistics in the offseason.
Participate in offseason planning for upcoming 2025 season.
Help support key communication, scheduling and time management of the Rams Security Team.
Support Football Operations team as a key member in all aspects and accomplish others duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented and proficient in the Microsoft suite.
Must be available weekdays and certain weekends and holidays, particularly during the football season (August to February).
Must be able to multi-task and problem solve in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
Requires extreme professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.
Displays excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service.
2+ years of experience within college or professional football is a plus.
Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
SALARY: $66,600k/yr.
