Job Abstract

A 350 bed San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager PICU and Pediatrics to join their growing healthcare organization.

The Nurse Manager Pediatrics and Pediatric ICU will be responsible for 2 units and over indirectly responsible for 100 FTE's. The Pediatric Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be supported by 3 tenured Assistant Nurse Managers

The Nurse Manager PICU and Pediatrics will be responsible for all unit budgeting, collaborating with unit managers. The Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Manager will provide guidance on nursing practice, hiring and retention, and quality improvement.

As the Nurse Manager PICU, you will be accountable for facilitating daily operations, staffing assignments, patient flow, and ensuring a healthy work environment. The RN PICU Manager will be an experienced nurse with PICU experience.
