The Behavioral Interventionist designs, implements and monitors behavioral plans for students that are based on thorough assessments and collaboration with Seneca Therapist and team, school staff, and significant others in student’s life. Additionally, the Behavioral Interventionist coordinates services if needed at the school sites and provides coaching, modeling and development opportunities to school staff. The Behavioral Interventionist collaboratively provides short-term services to stabilize the family and promote academic and social emotional success for the youth.

The All-In! So Cal program serves youth and families referred by their local school district. The team consist of behavioral interventionists, therapists, and parent partners. Together, the team provides unconditional support to children whose academics are impacted by their mental health.

Participate in professional learning communities to enhance practice and create coherence.
Conduct community resource development.
Flexibility to work a family-driven schedule which may include evenings and weekends.
Uphold strict confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
Experience/education requirements:
Bachelor’s degree OR
Associate’s degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable work experience OR
High school diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable work experience
Applicable experience includes any paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families, or working in the social services field
Ability and willingness to work independently in the community, at school sites, and in the office.
Strong written and verbal skills, including solid computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.
Strong organizational skills as demonstrated by the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and with a diverse population of clients.
Valid California driver's license and insurable by Seneca's automobile policy.
Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other mandatory State/Federal licensing or certification requirements.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
PREFERRED
Experience in working with children who exhibit extremely challenging behaviors and their families.
Experience providing crisis assessment, management, and interventions.

Full-time
Monday - Friday: 10am-6:30pm
Flexibility required.
Hybrid; provide in-person services & complete documentation remotely
Benefits
Starting at $20.60 - $23.10 per hour.
Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.
Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam.
Salary increases each year.
