This analyst-level position requires an individual with strong analytical skills in supply chain management and a drive to learn new concepts and theories rapidly. Responsibilities include setting up and implementing supply chain planning and reporting processes, coordinating, and executing improvement projects, and managing reporting needs. The role also involves conducting scenario analyses to support decision-making and shaping the operations of the new supply chain planning department. This position operates in a dynamic, team-oriented environment within a large corporate company.
Essential Responsibilities
• Support the development and provision of product forecast plans at both division and national levels to assist supply chain partners with purchasing decisions
• Assist in creating and updating product inventory plans to monitor warehousing inventory levels and trigger internal purchasing decisions
• Monitor and manage daily JD Edwards activity from purchase order writing, inventory allocations, and required inventory reconciliation
• Develop tools to forecast and guide savings initiatives
• Generate weekly and monthly reports in support of business objectives
• Share and validate forecasts and opportunities with cross-functional teams
• Recommend strategies to optimize inventory productivity and cost savings
• Manage replenishment by forecasting and ordering to maintain stock levels
• Collaborate with Sourcing and Logistics teams to prioritize purchase orders while optimizing product MOQs and shipping container loads
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field and 2 years of relevant work experience. Experience in sourcing processes from overseas or domestic suppliers, building relationships with manufacturers or brand owners. Desire to learn the home building industry and innovate. Experience in a wide range of consumer products such as case goods, lighting or plumbing finish items in a manufacturing, retail or distribution environment is preferred. Strong negotiation skills. Sound time-management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Experience using VBA Macros and Data simulation preferred. Experience in JD Edwards and other supply chain planning solution software a plus.
The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
