Pay: $23.00 / hour
Job Duties:
- Serves food and beverages to guests in private event functions
- Sets up private event functions (including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and putting out table centerpieces).
- Communicate any issues from guests to Banquet Manager.
- Keep inventory of all equipment in order and stored in their appropriate areas.
- Provide all guests with a 5-star experience from start to finish
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or as directed by supervisor.
- Understands and can communicate products and services available to guests
- Pre-buss tables as needed
- Ensure function rooms are properly cleaned and always show-ready
Education/Experience:
- 1 year similar experience
- High school diploma
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Pleasant and attentive personality
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management discipline.
- Understanding of banquet operating systems
- Ability to multi-task.
- Operate effectively in stressful situations.
- Ability to adapt to changing guest needs.
- Is a team player and interacts with all guests and fellow associates in a positive and friendly manner.
- Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate in English.
Physical Demands:
- Strength demands: Medium work. Includes exerting 10-30 pounds.
