• Become a valuable asset to Mercury's quality organization, and grow within an industry-leading supplier of Micro-electronic assemblies.

Within this role, you are responsible for:
• Develop, monitor, and re-define internal operating procedures by means of regular internal process audits to uphold QMS Requirements to AS9100:D
• Develop and Maintain visible Quality KPI's and associated actions (FPY, RTY, DPPM, etc...)
• Monitor and Drive COPQ initiatives (Scrap reduction, escapes, RMA)
• Hold regular MRB activities with follow-up status and actions
• Address production-related Quality issues as they arise
• Interact daily with Engineering and Production to monitor production yields and drive improvement actions
• Assist with ESD and FOD Programs as necessary.
• Development of Manufacturing Quality Plans based on customer SOW
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• 2-4 Years of Quality Engineering / Manufacturing Quality Oversight
• Versed in ISO / AS Industry standards
o Space Industry experience is considered an asset
• Familiar with LEAN/6S Methodology
• RCCA
• Highly Organized, Motivated, with Excellent Communication abilities
• Ability to multi-task
• Follow-up consistency
• Strong decision-making abilities
• Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and other metric-building tools:
o Pareto
o Data analysis
o Trends
• Knowledge of SMT componentry considered an asset
• IPC-610 preferred
