Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
IT Coordinator Functions:
evelop and implement protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices
Facilitate the communication between end users and higher-level support
Setup or configure workstations, printers, scanners, projectors, Smartboards, tablets, IPads, phones or any other technology devices that staff requires for work in their offices or classrooms
Install operating system, drives, applications, or programs
Maintain and repair computers, printers, scanners, projectors, tablets, Ipads, phones in classrooms and staff’s offices
Provide technical support and coaching to school’s staff
Manage the ticketing system to take and assign tickets
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of the school’s equipment
Provide school’s staff with any necessary IT equipment
Manages and implements updates for all workstations and devices on site.
Setup/Configure switches and access points providing workstations on site with network access
Setup/Configure network for phones allowing users to utilize them on site
Basic Network Troubleshooting
Assist in providing a safe and orderly learning environment
Maintain the computer labs and an inventory of information and technology equipment (hardware and software)
Attend and participate in all staff meetings, trainings, and retreats
Casas Proctor position
Responsible with Site Coordinator to ensure smooth operations of the site
Assist Adult Education Department in orientations and testing sessions at various locations for all new Adult Education students including
Prepare testing environments including sanitize stations, set up computer, eliminate distractions
Administer & proctor CASAS reading tests and listening tests to Adult Education students
Assist Student Coordinator in scheduling pre and post tests for all Adult Education students
Attend webinars, trainings, and meetings in order to understand best testing procedures and test security
