Ameresco is looking for a BESS Monitoring Analyst to work a hybrid schedule that will be tied to our office in Westborough, MA or Pine Brook, NJ. This role is going to be joining our Solar O&M group.
Responsibilities:
Monitor in real-time BESS sites across the US and provide feedback and insight in a timely manner.
Work with BESS Operations Team to dispatch field and emergency service personnel when appropriate.
Justify and document technical decisions related to data analysis.
Become a subject matter expert by staying abreast of regulatory developments at the federal, state, ISO and utility level.
Assist in developing and tracking performance metrics for assets participation and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
Meeting pre-established BESS skill sets through continuous training, courses, and certifications. Assist in preparing written reports, presentation materials, and other project deliverables.
Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, related field or the equivalent relevant work experience.
Availability and willingness to work 2 weekend shifts a month.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Ability to work well independent with limited oversight.
Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
