Position Summary:
The Employee Health Nurse (EHN) is a Registered Nurse who provides direct and indirect nursing care to employees, volunteers, and contractors. This role assists in the daily operation of the Employee Health Department. The EHN will work with the Employee Health Manager to complete annual requirements such as safety plan implementation, pre-employment screening and clearance, annual TB screening, annual N95 mask fit testing, and annual flu shot administration.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Education necessary to attain Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California and current CA RN license. Minimum Experience: Worker’s Compensation and Employee Health experience in healthcare setting preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Current American Heart Association BLS card
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
