Responsibilities This position manages the Value Analysis program for Garnet Health by working with Clinical Administrators, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff and Vendors. This position will achieve Supply Chain Management goals related to non-labor cost containment, product standardization, and group purchasing contract compliance. This position will promote and utilize value analysis in the decision making process for the selection and sourcing of supplies and suppliers. This position will chair the Value Analysis committees at both Hospitals of Garnet Health. Position will require travel between Garnet Health Orange County campus and Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills Campus. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required within 2 to 3 years of hire , preferred in Healthcare or business related. Minimum Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years experience in healthcare, clinical experience a plus. Purchasing and supply chain experience preferred. Demonstrated experience required in product analysis, performing cost comparison, and communication with nurses, physicians, clinicians, and vendors. Prior experience preferred with project management and coordination. Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects in a timely manner and support multiple projects concurrently. Experience reflects analytical skills; ability to create objective criteria for evaluating products and services; ability to create reports, communication skills; ability to lead a group to meet objectives. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office word and excel is required. Required Certification/Registration: Physical Requirements: Travel to multiple facilities required. Working Conditions: Environmental Demands and Exposure to Hazards: Works in a clean, well-lighted, heated or ventilated facility. No routine exposure to hazards. For Remote and Hybrid Remote positions: If deemed operationally necessary, position may be required to report in and work on-site. Physical Demands: Demonstrates physical and functional ability to perform full anatomical range of motion to accomplish tasks.
