Qualifications

• No degree required, an Associate's Degree is an advantage
• 2+ years of experience with electromechanical systems build for high-mix, low-volume equipment
• Ability to assembly components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Background in electrical systems is helpful, such as cabling, using digital volt meter
• Ability to test and troubleshoot from board to component to systems level - prototypes and final assemblies
• Must be familiar with hand tools including Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, torque wrenches, o-scopes, power meter
• Experience working in Class 100 clean room
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Help build and test mechanical assemblies at a system level for new metrology system
• Complete system integration and testing for semiconductor tools
• Perform mechanical, optomechanical and electrical assembly, alignment and calibration
• Candidate will also be required to maintain and qualify existing tools, return to operational functionality if necessary
• Should have good hands on assembly, troubleshooting and communications skills
