Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology and Telecom is currently seeking Test Technicians for a long-term engagement at a premier Medical Device Optical Solutions Manufacturing client in Milpitas, CA. We are seeking highly experienced Test Technician professionals with industry experience. Our client is well known as one of the largest, most innovative medical device and optical solutions companies in the world today. This location specializes in equipment used in optometry.
Test Technicians
You will be responsible for executing product performance test protocols and recording the results.
Job Responsibilities
Independently execute manufacturing or manufacturing-support processes according to standard operating procedures and current curriculum.
Support schedule adjustments to meet production, material receipt, and shipping requirements; Review visual schedule.
Conducting several procedures in the system to assist with testing lifetime usage.
Running a diagnostic check on the system utilizing the provided necessary external tools.
Entering/reporting data into internal software and in online forms and adhering to testing timelines.
Demonstrating potential identified issues to team members such as the NPI QA, R&D, and Validation teams.
Assemble, repair, inspect, and test products, and assemblies following written instructions.
Should have good time management, the ability to hit deadlines as well as an understanding of Excel (data entry only).
Set up and operate a variety of machines or equipment following written instructions.
Maintain tools and equipment per documented procedures.
Record information on approved documents.
Must be able to navigate online forms and follow directions to use electronic products.
Candidate will learn to work with specific test equipment, quick learner.
They will be running about 60 treatments and then conducting CTQ testing in a loop.
This is repetitive work.
Proactively maintain a clean and safe work environment. Take necessary action to eliminate safety hazards and communicate to others any observed unsafe behaviors.

Qualifications
1-2 years minimum of experience working as a test technician.
HS Diploma or GED legible copy and documentable.
