We are looking to add an experienced and motivated bar captain to join our Abigail Kirsch team at the Loading Dock in Stamford, CT. As a bar captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth service for a variety of events by supervising the bar staff.
Compensation is $29 an hour.
What you'll be doing:
Lead a team of event bar staff to make sure all events are successful.
Responsible for beverage and liquor counts.
Will need to know how to make drinks and follow standard recipes to mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
Responsible for the setting up and breaking down off all bar's stations.
Handle customer service needs including describing and recommendation of menu items.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.
Ability to memorize and describe a variety of recipes, especially for mixed beverages.
A valid state bartending license.
