The New Jewish Home, Sarah Neuman campus in Westchester, is currently seeking a full time day shift Painter to join their team!

Job Summary: The Painter works with a variety of interior and exterior surfaces, making appropriate repairs or preparations as necessary, and repairs/replaces all glass and glazing for windows and doors.

Responsibilities:

• Orders paint and related supplies needed for painting throughout the nursing home.
• Paint new construction or renovations projects and repaint existing surfaces as needed.
• Mixes paint to match existing surfaces for repainting when necessary.
• Cleans and maintains painting equipment.
• Maintain records of existing painted surface colors.
• Patch holes and apply drywall compound sand and prepare for painting on newly constructed or repaired walls.
• Some maintenance work as needed.
