Job Abstract

We are seeking a skilled Meditech Applications Analyst to join our dynamic healthcare IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of Meditech's applications, ensuring optimal functionality and integration within our healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Meditech's modules such as Quality Vantage for Regulatory Dara Extraction, Expanse Patient Care, Business & Revenue Cycle and other systems, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Plan, design, develop and launch efficient information systems and operation systems in support of core organizational functions. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve applications issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT applications and systems investments. Assist in the planning, design, development, and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Meet with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements and system goals, and identify and resolve business system issues. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Assist in the depolyment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Create application configuration and design proposals. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
