What You Will Do:
- Plans/manages dock flow in order to safely and effectively meet outbound shipment and inbound receiving schedules
- Trains, develops and monitors logistics associates in required duties
- Performs safety, procedural and housekeeping audits of the logistics areas
- Identifies safety hazards and implements changes necessary to mitigate hazards
- Proactively communicates with customer service, management, production and maintenance department personnel to meet departmental and plant objectives
- Accurately processes necessary transactions related to labor reporting and record keeping
- Performs daily administrative tasks involved with maintaining inventory accuracy in SAP and additional systems
- Back-up forklift operator for shipping and receiving operations as labor crewing and demand dictates (this is a “working” coordinator position)
Position Details:
- Plant location: Martinsburg, WV
- This position will work 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10pm - 6am
- Overtime is required, depending on business needs.
- Hourly Compensation Range $28 / hour (+ $0.50 shift differential). Hourly Compensation is based on full-time 40 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of Ecolab experience in logistics (shipping and receiving), or 5 years of logistics experience in a related industry
- 1 year of experience in coaching and mentoring of staff
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Computer literacy with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of ISO, DOT and OSHA standards
- Experience utilizing SAP and/or other WMS
- Willingness to assume new responsibilities and activities for personal and professional development
- Good time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, working in a high volume, high SKU count environment
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
