Job Summary
THE POSITION
The Coordinator I, California Community Schools Partnership Program-Juvenile Court Schools, shall support the LACOE Juvenile Court schools in implementing the California Community Schools Framework. In partnership with the site administrator, the Coordinator I will develop a system of support for students, families, and community members. Additionally, Coordinator I is responsible for implementing systems, procedures, and policies; monitoring projects; and maintaining program fidelity. The Coordinator I, will work closely with school staff, county and community partners to identify root causes of school and community outcomes, identify collaborative strategies through the implementation of the Community School Council.
Requirements / Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of employment in the field of teaching, social work or school counseling working with school-age children. Two years of experience in a leadership position preferred. Experience with at-promise youth and/or students involved in the juvenile justice system.
EDUCATION:
A Master’s degree in education or a related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE (Must attach credential with document number on it.)
• Must possess and maintain a valid administrative services credential
