Pearce is seeking a Part-Time Staff Accountant to work in the Prairieville, LA area. In this role you will have the opportunity to show case a strong accounting background. PART-TIME STAFF ACCOUNTANT

$19.00 Per Hour

Schedule and Hours

Wednesday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

Record financial transactions in general ledger
Analyze monthly financial transactions for increases/decreases in accounts
Prepare annual budget
Maintain financial records to include cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income statement for multiple companies
Reconcile bank accounts
Maintain and file sales tax documents and reports
Record journal entries
Assist with annual financial audit

Skills:

Proficient accounting software
Strong technical accounting knowledge
Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles

Requirements:

3+ years of Accounting experience required
Bachelor's Degree or similar preferred

Experience:

Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Required)
