The Parts Counter Person (Back) contributes to the success of the Parts Department by being involved and adding to our customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1-year experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
Must follow and adhere to brand Guidelines & Customer Service Expectations
Must have a strong focus on keeping KPI scores high
Must be a process driven individual with the strong ability to multitask
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Qualifications:
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business by ensuring customer complaints are handled tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and per brand standards
Takes the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction and brand Customer Survey Score Cards by ensuring the quality and promptness of all parts requests.
Complete training programs and certification programs.
Monitors shop conditions, cleanliness and safety
Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
Pulls and fills orders from stock
Maintain a weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
