Hobby Lobby is looking for a Project Manager to join our Technology department located at its corporate headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned projects. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Manage and support custom application development projects; product implementations, upgrades, service packs etc. working with Hobby Lobby business units, vendors and technology teams
Provide leadership, oversight and direction to assigned projects
Manage project milestone tracking and communication
Liaise with business users and IS to define project objectives, scope etc.
Critically review and evaluate project deliverables
Create and maintain project plans. Track and communicate progress to stakeholders
Work with team members to perform systems requirements gathering and analysis. Develop associated process flow and/or documentation
Develop system support documentation and provide/coordinate ongoing support
Analyze risks, opportunities and handle any issues that may arise. Remove impediments and resolve any conflicts
Perform custom software, product, hardware testing as needed and document results
Document and coordinate end-user testing and training
Third Party Software
Coordinate software package selection activities with the business unit and vendor candidates
Participate in vendor contract analysis and negotiations
Co-Manage On-Premise or SaaS implementation efforts with the Vendor PM
Schedule and coordinate upgrades and service packs with vendors and Hobby Lobby business units
Develop and manage vendor relationships
Travel when required – up to 20% (approx.)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Ability to motivate groups of people to prioritize, track and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of On-Premise Vs. SaaS software concepts or able to quickly become proficient with, a general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization
Ability to resolve conflicting and high priority requirements
Experience in Project Life Cycle, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Technical Support, Software Development/Implementation Life Cycle and their best practices
Proficient in standard project management tools like, MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of Agile methodology, and able to serve as a Scrum Master, facilitate scrum meetings, and lead sprint planning/demo/retrospective meetings effectively
Knowledge of project collaboration tools like, MS Project, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence
