As the Production Technician at Purolite, an Ecolab Company, you will join our operations team at our brand-new life sciences manufacturing facility in King of Prussia, PA. This role will give you a great opportunity to join and advance with an innovative and high-growth global company committed to sustainability.
Transfer of product to dryers, grinding, screening, and packaging of products.
Ensure efficiency and maintains the production schedule as directed by the Production Supervisor.
Responsible for compliance with all clean room safety and production quality requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Knowledge of FDA requirements Title 21 part 210 & 211 in Manufacturing, Processing, Packing, or Holding of Drugs and Finished Pharmaceuticals.
Is accountable for all materials to and from the production suites and delivery to the quarantine warehouse.
Will be responsible for of ensuring quality, productivity, and operating equipment in the clean rooms.
Helps to Maintain inventory of Personal protective equipment (PPE) and other consumables used in the manufacturing processes.
Must maintain personal hygiene in relation to working with Pharmaceuticals and in a clean room environment.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives and recommends improvements to the Production Supervisor.
Monitors and communicates non-conformances to the Production Supervisor or Senior managers.
Recommends measures to improve methods, and/or quality of product.
Works with the Supervisor and Engineers to implement changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of the department.
Maintains Production equipment through general cleanings.
Documents all critical process parameters during batch processing. Signs completed batch steps in the documents and transfers all completed documents to the Supervisor for review.
Works with the QC Supervisor on making sure all batches are sampled and submitted to the lab within reasonable timelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3 years of production experience in a pilot plant or specialty chemical manufacturing plant
Working knowledge of cGMP Guidelines, FDA Regulations, and knowledge of cleanroom etiquette required
Experience working on automated equipment
Experience with the practice of TPM - Total Productive Maintenance
Comfortable operating in a clean room environment
Excellent communications skills
Experience with grinding, homogenization, and packaging of cGMP products and handling API’s
Prior cleanroom experience
