Location: West LA
Job Title: HR Generalist
Remote or in Office: Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote)
Schedule: 8am-5pm
Parking Details: company pays for parking onsite
Duration: Direct Hire (permanent)
Salary: $70k - $75k base range
Benefits: M/D/V premiums paid by company, accrued PTO on bi-weekly basis, 9 company holidays, last week of December is off, 401k

Key Requirements:
-Own the entire LOA process
-Experienced with local, state, and federal laws for Leave of Absence (FMLAs, PFLs, ADAs, etc)
-Onboarding/Offboarding - managing exit interviews

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for preparing and executing new employee orientation/onboarding, offboarding/exiting.
* Serve as the 'subject matter expert' on all company leaves of absence.
* Participate in the compliant maintenance of personnel files and update employee databases.
* Responsible for external data reporting. Generate custom reports and data analysis as requested and report on HR metrics.
* Serve as a 'first responder' for HR inquiries.
* Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, supervisors, department leaders, and HR team members.
* Work closely with payroll to coordinate relevant employee information.
* Stay informed of best practices and market trends in human resources and federal/state labor laws.
* Prepare and amend HR documents as necessary.
* Participate in HR projects, events, and activities.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
* At least three years of solid experience in human resources with hands-on experience in the areas of responsibility noted.
* Solid experience with leaves of absence and employee onboarding/offboarding.
* Hands-on experience in human resources, including employee experience and people operations.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs.
