Job Summary
*This position is contingent on restricted funding and its continuance will evaluated on an annual basis.
Requirements / Qualifications
Educational Requirements: A master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution and obtaining field hours necessary for attaining California Clinical Social Worker Licensure is required.
Experience Requirements: Experience in a K-12 public school setting and fluency in Spanish is desired. Additional desirable experience includes: • Home evaluations • Short-term support in problem-solving and obtaining resources • Small-group support classes in victim awareness, social skills, etc. • Collaboration with other government agencies to create partnerships when working with families in crisis • Leveraging resources to maximize outreach to students and families
Licensing, Certification, Testing Requirements: California licensed Masters of Social Work from an accredited institution is preferable.
Fingerprint/criminal justice clearance; Tuberculosis clearance is required upon hire.
