Tinker Federal Credit Union’s Human Resources department has an immediate opening for a Leave Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest and best credit union in Oklahoma! As the Leave Administrator, you will be responsible for the following: Performing the day-to-day tasks associated with leave of absence programs including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), ADA and other applicable leaves of absences. Engaging in and managing the ADA Interactive process with employees, when applicable. Reviewing and providing recommendation for policy changes based on state or federal mandates. Serving as the primary liaison with leave administration software vendor for troubleshooting and development requests. Partnering with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and Benefits teams to ensure leaves are addressed timely and accurately to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinating with Payroll for processing of any paid leave benefits. Maintaining regular contact with employees on leave in a timely, accurate, and empathetic manner and manages the return-to-work process. Receiving and processing incident reports and workers’ compensation claims and filing all insurance forms in a timely manner in keeping with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations. Salary Range: The salary range is from $83,129-103,912, however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity. Education/Experience/Certifications: A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and a minimum of three years of experience within benefits administration, leave benefit administration, workers compensation, equal opportunity or other relatable HR specialties are required. PHR or SHRM-CP designation/certification preferred (the current certification can count for 12 months experience or the equivalent education hours). Keys to success: In order to be successful in the Leave Administrator position, you must possess these qualifications: Expert knowledge of leave requirements and laws at the Federal level, specific to FMLA. Comprehensive knowledge of protections offered under ADA and FMLA. Ability to listen to employees and discern needs. Strong interpersonal communication skills with the willingness and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels professionally. Effective communication skills with various levels of audience sizes. Ability and willingness to effectively manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Ability to prioritize work and execute it within policies and processes by consistent and accurate methods. Ability to utilize leave administration software. Effective and clear report writing skills.
