What’s a typical day as a Receptionist? You’ll be:
• Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Checking-in and checking-out patients for appointments.
• Ensuring the front desk and waiting area are clean and organized.
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments.
• Managing the flow of patients in the office to ensure timely appointments.
• Answering phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assisting with patient intake and registration, including verifying insurance information and collecting necessary documentation.
• Providing excellent customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns.
• Facilitating communication between patients and clinicians.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Processing patient payments and handling billing inquiries.
• Collaborating with the scheduling coordinator and other administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and office supplies management.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Have previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Are proficient in using office software and practice management systems.
