Job Abstract

The cash application clerk will serve as a vital part of the GBS/Cash app team by, processing, verifying, and researching cash receipts. They will help with customer cash application issues, as well as help streamline the intercompany cash transactions. This will include reconciling bank accounts and other related cash activity.

• Review and verify incoming cash receipts and outgoing cash payments
• Research cash remittances and provide detail to application team
• Assist with special projects for the cash
• Research and resolve application discrepancies and issues
• Monitor cash tracker to ensure postings are up to date
• Work with collectors to reconcile AR transactions
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Assist with AP cash receipts as needed
• Maintaing and reconcile intercompany cash transfers from end to end
• Produce monthly reports on cash activities
• Assist with month-end closing
• Perform bank reconciliations as needed
• Provide supporting documentation for audits

• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word
