Cloud Manager
Key Role:
Oversee the planning, management, performance and reliability of cloud computing environments and systems. Plans and assists in developing and evaluating cloud computing applications and infrastructure. Designs and implements both hardware and software solutions to run the cloud environment while monitoring the overall performance of systems. Uses cloud analytics to store and analyze data in the cloud in order to shape the information environment and better manage information to assist in a decision-making model of the organization. Evaluates technology standards, tools, products, and solutions to make design decisions from business and technical perspectives and communicate recommendations.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience working closely with stakeholders, technical staff, and cybersecurity to plan to design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements, cloud computing requirements, strategies, and overall management of cloud resources
Experience managing cloud infrastructure and applications day-to-day to ensure high availability and performance
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting issues that impact cloud services, including network connectivity and security
Knowledge of current and emerging cloud technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Ability to implement and enforce cyber security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access
Ability to plan and execute disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss
Ability to monitor, report on and optimize cloud costs and resources by identifying and addressing inefficiencies and manage vendor relationships and contracts related to cloud services
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
DoD cyber certification as an IAT level II, including CCNA-Security, CompTIA, GICSP,,SEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP
Additional Qualifications:
Experience managing accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment
Knowledge of systems administration concepts
Ability to provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams as needed
Ability to comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures
Bachelor’s degree in information technology
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
