Job Summary

The Director of Food Services is a management position under the administrative direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services that is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the District's food services program, including purchasing, cost control, accounting and personnel selection, evaluation and training functions; develops nutritional menus in accordance with National School Meal Program requirements; coordinates with other District administrators.

Requirements / Qualifications

-Shall have a minimum of three (3) years demonstrated school cafeteria experience or highly related experience -Shall have a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience in a food service environment -Possess ServSafe certification which complies with California food handler regulations -Possess a high school diploma or its equivalency -An AA degree in nutrition is desired
