Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Two years of experience in the painting trade.
• Copy of valid California Driver License.
• Copy of current & complete K-4 DMV report with California seal (printed within 7 days of job posting).
• Knowledge of methods, equipment and materials used in the painting trade.
• Knowledge of methods of preparing a variety of surfaces for painting and finish work.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures.
• Ability to paint the interior and exterior of various District buildings and facilities.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push or pull moderately heavy objects and perform heavy physical labor.
