Commercial Lines Department Manager - Independent Agency - Base Salary to 120k/year - Totowa, NJ

• Our client, a growth-oriented independent insurance agency in the Totowa, NJ area, has an immediate need for a skilled Commercial Lines Department Manager. They are a highly collaborative team looking for a Commercial Lines Department Manager to lead a team in servicing a book of general commercial accounts and provide direction and guidance to their team of Account Executives.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for a team of 10 Account Executives who are servicing a book of commercial lines accounts while providing support to the commercial lines team.
• Be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to clients and maintaining existing relationships.
• Act as an advisor to your team, assisting other Account Executives, training and coaching new employees, etc.

Qualifications:

• 3+ Years of experience leading a team of Commercial Line Account Executives.
• 3+ Years of Insurance experience in commercial lines with an independent agency.
• Experience with EPIC agency management system a plus.
• NJ Property and Casualty (P&C) Licensed.

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 120k/year
• Opportunity for commission when bringing in new business/rounding accounts.
