ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Functional Family Therapy- Foster Care (FFT-FC)

Functional Family Therapy- Foster Care (FFT-FC) is an evidence-based in-home clinical intervention with a relational focus on the family unit for DCF-involved children. In addition to clinical treatment, FFT-FC also offers corresponding case management services with a Family Specialist. Birth Families and Foster Families are the primary unit of intervention. FFT-FC is built on the core FFT model; it is completed with the foster family and moves to your working with the birth family when the youth is preparing for reunification and after.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides administrative and clinical leadership within the Team;
- Responsible for meeting contracted goals and benchmarks including productivity expectations, program utilization and caseloads;
- Assists Clinical Supervisors and direct care staff with crisis intervention efforts, intervenes and provides on-site coverage when needed;
- Ensures clients receive treatment services that are focused on presenting problem and clients’ request for service;
- Ensures staff receive training that is appropriate for their job classification and program;
- Provides training and case consultation;
- Develops and executes marketing plans for programs as needed;
- Ensures documentation is compliant with agency and program standards. Oversees completion of chart audits;
- Monitors outcomes using results based accountability framework, reviews data on performance indicators and develops performance improvement plans to address issues;
- Ensures timely completion of reports and data on performance indicators, DCF standards, program specific reporting requirements, program enrollment, incident/accidents, etc.;
- Attends meetings with funders and other key stakeholders;
- Responsible for hiring staff;
- Evaluates staff, initiates and follows through on progressive discipline, if needed;
- On call coverage during and after program hours as assigned;
- Participates in committees to improve agency service delivery and quality improvement.
- Manage recruitment and retention plan ensuring families are trained and supported in the FFT and FFT FC model.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Masters in mental health related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Clinician, and 2 years of clinical supervisory experience and/or management in a behavioral health setting. Previous experience in foster care and/or Functional Family Therapy preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC required in state of CT.

COMPENSATION*:
Starting at $70,581/annually minimum, and up commensurate upon experience
*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as, adherence to our internal equity policy. Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. (Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
