Junior Tax Accountant Job Description:

PrideStaff is partnering with our client to add a dynamic Junior Tax Accountant to their Accounting Firm. As Tax Accountant you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, assisting clients with accounting support, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will have a CPA license and 2+ years of working in Accounting with Tax Preparation experience. If this is you, come and apply with us! Junior Tax Accountant Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare & File Complex Tax Returns

• Compile Supporting Financial Statements & Documents

• Assist with Federal & State Tax Audits

• Respond to Inquiries from Regulatory Agencies

• Perform Tax Research, Stay Up to Date on Changes

• Speak Directly With Clients & Offer Service as Needed

Junior Tax Accountant Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Required

• 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting

• CPA Certification Required

• Experience with CCH Axcess Or Netsuite CS Preferred

• Experience With Preparing & Reviewing Series 1040 Filings

• Experience With Preparing Series 1065, 1120-S, 1120, 990 & Other Filings

• Ability To Manage Multiple Projects & Meet Tight Deadlines

• Experience With General Tax Preparation Software

• Excellent Analytical, Organizational, & Problem-Solving Skills

• Exceptional Communication Skills, Both Written & Verbal
