JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Office Manager 3 – Nutrition Services will take on a strategic role in overseeing and managing the administrative functions of the office. They will be a professional with extensive experience in office management and a strong ability to lead and mentor a team. They will collaborate closely with the Office Manager and executive leadership to drive operational excellence and enhance the overall efficiency of the office.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1 Oversee and manage all aspects of office operations, ensuring adherence to District policies and procedures. 2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize office productivity and streamline administrative processes. 3. Provide leadership and guidance to the administrative staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. 4. Collaborate with department heads to assess office needs, anticipate potential challenges, and implement effective solutions.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES CONTINUED
5. Conduct regular assessments of office systems, workflows, and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. 6. EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachlors degree preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1-3 years proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an office setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, calendar management).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
