LinQuest is seeking a Junior Systems Analyst/Integrator to join our team in El Segundo, CA. An active Top-Secret clearance with SCI-eligibility is required.

You will join a Systems Engineering team defining the next generation of space communication systems supporting Space Force Military Satellite Communications. You will support Systems Engineering & Integration activities in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. You will interface and collaborate with SE&I team members, contractors, government civilians and members of the USSF to provide acquisition management development and support.
The Junior Systems Analyst/Integrator is responsible for assisting engineering and integration teams with the analysis and integration of engineering, management, and administrative processes, solutions, and risks. The Junior Systems Analyst/Integrator works under the supervision of a Technical Lead and/or Lead Systems Analyst/Integrator in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities. They may also support engineering teams in development of solutions to system issues, as well as, maintenance and drafting of engineering/technical data. They execute assigned tasks in a timely manner with appropriate oversight.
The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force’s Space and Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force’s acquisition of state of the art Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate program/project-specific hardware and software into systems for specific configurations to support test, maintenance, upgrades and/or exercise events.
- Develop and coordinate engineering program documents and briefing packages to support Program Management Reviews (PMR), Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, and various working groups.
- Support several meetings and activities that require proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other software tools (i.e. JIRA/Confluence, SEV, and Risk tools).
- Apply technical knowledge to aid troubleshooting and resolution of complex SATCOM problems.
- Work with Engineering, Ground Segment, Space Segment, and other business/administrative IPT personnel to resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Assist trouble shooting of integration and test issues; assist with documentation of integration and test results and documentation
- Adhere to troubleshooting procedures and application of work-around documents
- Aide with development and execution of detailed integration and test plans and procedures to test in an integrated environment or to test specific capabilities
- Document assessment, meeting summaries, action items, risks, and proposed solution plans to support engineering and program meetings as directed
- Review and assess engineering deliverables and provide recommendations to customers
- Assist with the author, review, edit, and recommend changes to technical, procedural, and training documentation.
- Account for and ensure positive control of critical resources.
- Assist in workplace and personnel safety by identifying risks, mitigating risks and intervenes to prevent mishaps.
- Assist with review, and provide feedback of, system specifications, development, test, network documents as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, or,
- Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline and minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, or,
- Master’s degree and minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Requires an understanding of both theories and principles of space systems and program offices
- Ability to manage time to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to react to directed adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with customers at a professional level
- Familiarity with technical writing
- Familiarity with Information Assurance
- Experience working with minimal supervision and in an integrated team-oriented, collaborative environment with prototype and/or production satellite communication systems
- Experience with MS Office
- Hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance with SCI-eligibility
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ of general experience in the space systems, systems engineering, space acquisitions, digital engineering
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering Tools (i.e. Digital Environment, JIRA/Confluence, and CAMEO modeling tool)
Compensation for California: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $80,000 to $125,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
