Web Insurance Representative
This position primarily supports our Online Bind Sales Unit Management in achieving the service, revenue, and productivity goals of the unit. This position will provide administrative, service, and sales support to Online Bind Management to ensure new business policies are complete and accurate. The position will also be responsible for verifying compliance with internal rules and guidelines. In addition, the position serves as the technical resource in the team.
Responsibilities Include:
Obtain required policy paperwork and verify various insurance policies. Verify and enter policy data accurately into insurance systems and respond to all underwriting inquiries.
Check compliance with established policy and organization guidelines through review of policy information, applications, systems, phone calls, or additional methods. Coordinate closely with management to ensure that these are adhered to.
Coordinate closely with the agents to address new business rating and information errors and ensure that corrections are made prior to completing the policy in the system.
Maintain up to date, working knowledge of all insurance policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
Identify cross-sell insurance and membership opportunities based on insured’s product needs and service request.
Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls discussing insurance and membership specific-related items to insureds.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Adhere to attendance standards and follow assigned schedule.
Qualifications:
1 -3 years in customer service and/or quality assurance preferred.
Ability to qualify and maintain Property & Casualty/Personal lines as well as Life license.
Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
Moderate proficiency in data entry required.
Training in California Auto, Home, Umbrella and Watercraft products preferred.
Knowledge of HUON, MACS, and PORTAL systems preferred.
High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$19.11 - $25.48
