Stock the warehouse with incoming material always adhering to bin locations, ensures accuracy of placement. Follow first in/first out process when loading material. Reconcile actual product shipped against vendor's packing list, noting and reporting damage or discrepancies. Prepares items to be shipped to customers and vendors. Creates shipper's bill of lading for materials being shipped. Disburses paperwork through the appropriate channel to ensure proper records can be maintained. Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies. Timely communication with Buyers regarding the status of a direct order. Conducts cycle counts as required (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)Maintains and updates inventory locations as required. Keep all aisles and receiving area clean, swept, and unobstructed. Empty trash cans as needed and breakdown cardboard boxes. Check all areas for unsafe conditions, reporting and correcting if possible. Must be certified to operate all types of forklifts utilized at the facility Perform daily forklift maintenance/safety checks and document checklist Performs refueling procedures (propane)Must be trained in battery recharging procedures Prepares and conducts physical inventory. Effective time management skills. Must be fast-paced, highly energetic, a self-starter, and possess a positive attitude. Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. and handle bulky items.
