Job Abstract

Provide administrative support to the Operations group with emphasis on day-to-day operations, material flow, tooling and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare documents used daily for production activities.
2. Manage inventory of consumables and other Kanban materials.
3. Prepare production material purchase requisitions following established company policies and procedures; track orders and follow-up with procurement as needed.
4. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate material timing and escalation.
5. Facilitate communication between direct labor workforce and manufacturing engineering for process improvement and problem solving.
6. Identify systematic issues inside the organization and facilitate solutions and process improvements accordingly.
7. Retrieve engineering drawings for review and use.
8. Distribute inspection documents, standard documents, quality alerts and work instruction documents.
9. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Multitasking, able to handle various responsibilities at once.

· Willingness to function as part of team but also be a self-motivated person.

· Analytical minded, able to present your recommendations to the team and/or management.

· Comfortable using various computer programs.

· Minimum of high school/GED.

· Two years manufacturing experience.

This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their supervisor immediately.
