The marketing coordinator ensures that Biola LEARN continues to serve LEARNers’ needs effectively and richly contribute to their flourishing. The coordinator maintains and bolsters current relationships by providing customer support and increasing engagement on Biola LEARN’s social media platforms. The coordinator also forecasts future needs by collecting data on target demographics and analyzing faith-based online education trends.
EssentialDuties:
Customer Service duties which include: Responding to tech-related issues and to platform-related questions, organizing and filing course evaluations and testimonials
Customer.io-related duties which include: generating broadcast emails, creating drip sequence email campaigns and other customer.io activity as needed
LinkedIn duties which include: Writing weekly post-copy, leading brainstorming sessions for social media calendar, engaging with followers, and generating and analyzing follower and competitor data
Forecasting duties which include: Researching faith-based online education market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor landscape, and preparing reports by analyzing and summarizing data
Developing proposing and executing marketing strategies based on research
Liaising with Biola University’s Digital Learning Video team
Collaborating with internal and external partners
Non-EssentialDuties:
Generating and designing surveys for participants or LinkedIn followers
Creating FAQs for the website
Participating in Biola LEARN Events
Creating onboarding platform videos
Brainstorming and designing projects for Biola LEARN’s growth with the team

Qualifications
General: Dependability, self-motivation, creativity, and the ability to work well in cross-departmental settings.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant field.
Skills: Customer service, knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques, excellent communication and presentation skills, strong analytical skills.
