Job Summary
Conducts in-person administration of the Summative English Language Proficiency Assessment for California (ELPAC): Administers and scores one-to-one Speaking domain to English Learners in grades TK-12. Administers all domains (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing) one-to-one to grades TK-2 and a limited number of learners in grades 3-12. Administers & proctors the computer-based ELPAC Reading, Writing and Listening, to English Learners in grades 3-12.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Attends ELPAC Administration and Scoring Training including independent on-line training for scoring calibration.
Follows testing protocols and navigates testing platforms during test administration.
Ensures a safe, comfortable, organized testing environment for students that adheres to state guidelines.
Testing will occur at all school sites - must be able to travel to different sites according to the District timeline.
Prepares materials for testing.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
Fluent in English
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Capable of self-direction in completing assigned tasks.
AA degree or higher.
Fingerprinting clearance or COC from CTC and Negative TB test or equivalent
Must be able to:
-Work independently with minimal direction
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all staff, students, administrators.
