Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) in El-Segundo, California, seeks an experienced Software Configuration Management Engineer to support its Government Proprietary programs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review of software documentation for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
• Oversee configuration control of software work products.
• Generate Software CM records as evidence of adherence to Software CM plans and Boeing standards.
• Verify accuracy of software deliveries, both internal and external.
• Support Change Boards and respond to internal audits and customer queries.

To meet security standards and protocols, all work is performed onsite in El Segundo, CA.

This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
• Experienced in Software Configuration Management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• NDIA certification.
• Supervisory or Task Lead experience.
• Experienced in Automated Builds & DevSecOps.

Typical Education & Experience:

Experienced (level 3):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.)

Lead (level 4):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years' related work experience, 8 years' related work experience, etc.).

Lead (level 5):  Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years' related work experience, 11 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:  

Experienced (level 3):  85,000 – 115,000

Lead (level 4):  107,950 – 146,050

Lead (level5):  127,500 – 172,500
