Principle duties and responsibilities include:

Support PUR and SCM on technical discussions regarding alternate raw materials
Foster material savings, phase-out of hazardous materials, cost improvement projects and activities according to product requirements and customer focus
Organize laboratory testing on alternate materials
Evaluate and interpret results
Communicate to stakeholders regularly by sharing information, creating technical reports, and delivering presentations

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Polymer, or Material Science
Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher
Must be able to work onsite at our Fairlawn, OH location
Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri)
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Self-motivated and highly independent
Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow
