The Manager of Laboratory Services will be part of a nonprofit organization serving the communities for more than 50 years. Accredited by the College of American Pathologists, the fully automated clinical laboratory in two campuses provide testing around the clock for inpatients, emergency department patients, and outpatients. Blood samples are collected by our state certified phlebotomists - health workers with expertise in drawing blood. Testing is performed by the state licensed Clinical Lab Scientist staff and monitored by board Certified pathologists.
The Manager of Clinical Laboratory Services will direct daily operations of the Clinical Laboratory and Pathology Services with 24-hour responsibility. The Laboratory Clinical Manager will provide leadership and works closely with Lab/Pathology management, staff, and pathologists, to guide technical and operational direction, planning and coordination of services.
The Manager of Laboratory and Pathology Services will be responsible for project planning and development; equipment and facilitates planning, staff development and training; budget preparation; regulatory compliance; contract negotiations for equipment, maintenance and supplies; productivity and performance improvement.
